I’m Karen O’Beirne, a registered solemniser and celebrant based in County Louth, performing ceremonies across Ireland and Northern Ireland. 

I specialise in crafting legal weddings, vow renewals, baby naming ceremonies, commitment ceremonies and celebration-of-life funerals.

I perform ceremonies across all 32 counties, travelling wherever love and life take me. 
Whether it’s a clifftop in Donegal, a castle in Meath, a countryside lodge in Monaghan or a family home in Armagh, I’ll bring the same level of care and professionalism to every occasion.

Because I’m registered to solemnise legal marriages in both Ireland and Northern Ireland, couples who live or celebrate across the border have full flexibility - one celebrant, one process and a ceremony that’s legally recognised everywhere.

Check Availability 
I’ll confirm if I’m available for your chosen date and provide a quick overview of your options.

Initial Chat 
We’ll arrange a short video call to discuss your ideas, answer your questions and ensure we’re the right fit for one another.

Booking & Booking Fee 
Once you’re ready to confirm your booking, I’ll send a Revolut payment link for your Booking Fee. As soon as it’s received, you’ll get a receipt and written confirmation of your ceremony date - officially securing your place in my calendar.

Planning Your Ceremony 
I’ll guide you step by step - from gathering stories, readings and rituals to creating your bespoke ceremony script.

It’s a collaborative, stress-free process that keeps you informed and inspired every step of the way.

Good things take time but there’s always room for love

How Far in Advance Should I Book?

Good ceremonies take time - but it’s never too early (or too late) to reach out.

For weddings, I recommend booking 6–12 months in advance especially during peak summer weekends. 
This allows time to complete your legal paperwork and for us to develop your ceremony together.

For baby naming or funeral ceremonies, I can often accommodate shorter notice. 
Life doesn’t always follow a schedule and I’ll do everything possible to be there when you need me.

Even if your date feels last-minute, it’s always worth checking as I sometimes have flexibility for mid-week or off-season bookings.
